Craftwhere will be giving away swag, conducting a fundraising raffle and selling shirts with 100% of profits benefiting First Descents, a Denver based non-profit that provides life-changing outdoor adventures to young adults (18-39) impacted by cancer. Items up for raffle will include shirts, hats, custom engraved YOpener barrel-stave bottle openers, tickets to the Great American Beer Festival’s Saturday Night Session and more. Raffle drawing will take place at Avanti at 5pm.
Our homepage mentions that we started this clothing company because we figured there was “not much” we could to do to make the world a better place. But just as soon as we decided to make ass-kicking craft beer, wine and spirits-inspired clothes, we collectively thought–“Maybe Craftwhere CAN make the world a better place?!” So we aim to do just that. Two birds, meet stone.
Our mission at Craftwhere is not only to hook you up with the best, most badass beergear and winowear, but it’s also to give back. We plan on doing this in a number of ways:
1. Fundraising for locally-based charities and causes through live events, online promotions and raffles, and partnerships with charitable efforts by local craft breweries/wineries/distilleries;
2. Hooking up free shirts for local charitable endeavors with a craft-inspired spin; and
3. Promoting and raising awareness of local charitable causes through our website and social media channels.
Be on the lookout for our #craftwherecares efforts. If you have an idea for a locally based charitable cause that would be a great fit for our mission, then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Drink well. Do good.
